About this site

Loan Limits by County is an independent reference site. It shows the conforming loan limit for every U.S. county, for homes with one to four units, from the Federal Housing Finance Agency's own file, with the change from last year and a plain explanation of FHA and jumbo limits.

What we do

• Publish agency figures as released, with the source and date on every page.
• Explain how limits are set, without jargon.
• Correct errors quickly. If you find one, please tell us.

What we are not

This site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. We are not a lender or a mortgage broker.
